3G iPhone

Hey Buzz Out Loud crew, have some news/rumors to share. I have a very close friend whom I hadn’t seen in several weeks, who just so happens to be an AT&T Signals Engineer. I ran into him last night downtown, and asked him where he had been lately, to which he responded “We’ve been working like crazy trying to get our 3G service ready for the new iPhone coming out next month”. That’s right, apparently the AT&T people are currently ramping up their network for what the employees are being told is a May release date for JesusPhone2.0. Perhaps just hearsay, perhaps just blowing smoke up my rear, perhaps honest truth. You be the judge.

this is really exciting to me, because (A) soon i will have the wonderful opportunity to purchase an iphone, (B) i really want the 3g version, and (C) i really don't want to buy one in June, then a few months later get screwed out of the 3g model.

anyway, i know this is random, but had to share and add to the black hole that is the apple product rumor mill.

and... in response to Amanda's post...
i just don't like how she obsesses over the Jonas brothers. and when it hits home, it hits hard. i've always been somewhat of a devil's advocate, opposing whatever the popular thing is. so, mostly this is just another product of that.
